I am proud to be an Affiliate of the Association of Business Mentors. As the UK’s professional body for business mentoring, the Association of Business Mentors (ABM) drives business growth and wellbeing through membership and training. This much respected affiliation enables me to sharpen my practice, build credibility, and most importantly, create and communicate tangible outcomes for the businesses I support.

I was delighted to contribute to a recent event at the Senedd (hosted by the British Constructional Steelwork Association), where industry leaders, apprentices, and policymakers gathered to celebrate the heritage and future of the Welsh steel sector. Discussions focused on the steelwork industry, which is worth approximately £1.6 billion per year and employs around 60,000 people across the UK.

I was recently invited by James Owen of Stori Cymru to be part of their podcast series allowing me to tell my story of growing a family business.

Stori Cymru champions business owners across Wales by getting to hear their stories. By sharing stories such as my own, Stori Cymru aims to encourage, motivate and inspire people to achieve their business potential. I hope my story does just this.

As an established business leader, I was excited to speak at the recent flagship International Women’s Day event, Partners in Progress: Give to Gain, focused on inclusive leadership, collaboration and regional opportunity.

Delivered by IoD Wales with support from Bluestone National Park Resort and Welsh Government, the event brought together established leaders and future talent to explore how sharing time, insight and opportunity can help unlock economic growth.
